About
Madis Kreevan is a composer who has worked across film, television, theatre, and advertising for over a decade.
He composed music for the short films “Kalevipoeg” and “Kivamees”, both featuring well-known Estonian actors and noted for their ambitious production value. His work is also featured in the popular Finnish-Estonian TV series “Kalamaja Blues”, which ran for two seasons and resonated strongly with younger audiences.
Madis is also active in the video game industry, currently working as a composer and sound designer for the ARPG Crystalfall, and has contributed music and audio to various other game projects for companies based in the UK and Finland. His work in game audio spans everything from scoring to in-depth sound design, reflecting his versatility across the medium.
In theatre, Madis has composed music for a wide range of productions, including the multi-sensory piece “My mind wandered beyond the mountains”, created for audiences with visual and hearing impairments, and the psychological thriller “Dark Matter”, whose score was praised for its atmospheric intensity. He has also created music for numerous commercial projects, including seasonal campaigns for Kaubamaja, one of Estonia’s largest retail chains.Madis is also active in the video game industry.
Madis has a deep-rooted passion for music that began in childhood. Fascinated by the piano from an early age, he explored different sounds and melodies before expanding his talents to the guitar at thirteen. After a year of formal lessons, he continued to hone his skills independently, soon joining bands and diving into the world of live performance. He pursued his academic studies in orchestral conducting at Tallinn University. He is currently based in Tallinn and works with a worldwide clientele.
